• Oct. 24: Wildlife Incident (Non-Hunting Related) at 320 Hill Ct, Yachats OSP Fish & Wildlife Division responded to a dead buck deer found near Hwy 101 and Hill Ct in Yachats, appearing road struck and taken to ODFW for sampling. Log entry only. Officer: Aaron Likens.
• Oct. 24: Non-Injury Crash on SR-229 Near Toledo A gray Ford F-150 driven by Brandon John Manning, 35, of Toledo, crashed into a guard rail near the intersection of SR-229 and US-20. No injuries reported; vehicle towed via AAA. Officer: Alexander Munsee.
• Oct. 25: DUII Arrest (Alcohol) on Highway 20 Near Pioneer Mountain Loop, Eddyville A silver/aluminum Chevy Camaro was stopped near milepost 10 for a traffic violation; driver Adam Franklin Jones, 48, of Toledo, arrested for DUII with .11% BAC and lodged at Lincoln County Jail. Passenger Megan Ann Carlile-Jones, 49, of Toledo, and a dog transported home; vehicle towed by Rowley’s Towing. Officer: David Peterson.
• Oct. 26: Warrant Arrest on US-20 Near Milepost 18 (Eastbound) A black GMC Sierra Limited K1500 was stopped for speeding (78 mph in a 55 mph zone); driver Joshua Tyler Weddel, 38, of Longview, Washington, arrested on a serviceable out-of-state fugitive warrant (ORS 133.747) and lodged at Lincoln County Jail. Passenger Summer Rayne Beals, 22, of Cornelius; vehicle towed by Coast Towing incident to arrest. Officer: Gavin Moody.
• Oct. 27: Non-Injury Crash on US-101 Near Lincoln City A red Ford Mustang driven by Robert James Allen, 41, slid off the highway on wet roads and became stuck in blackberries with almost no damage. Log entry only, non-reportable; driver arranged own tow. Officer: Joey Pollard.
• Oct. 27: Non-Injury Crash on SR-18 Near Milepost 2 (Eastbound) A black Ford F-150 driven by Joshua Alexander Childs, 37, of Portland, struck a deer, which was not located. No injuries reported; driver arranged own tow. Passenger Phoenix Abigail Chambers, 28, of Portland. Officer: Nathan Goodey Brooks.
• Oct. 27: DUII Arrest (Alcohol) on US-101 Near Milepost 139 (Southbound), Depoe Bay A silver/aluminum Honda Civic was stopped for a traffic violation; driver Carlos Javier Paz Garcia, 22, of Newport, showed impairment signs, admitted recent alcohol and cannabis use, performed poorly on SFSTs, arrested for DUII (ORS 813.010) and reckless driving (ORS 811.140), and lodged at Lincoln County Jail. • Oct. 28: Non-Injury Crash on SR-18 Near Milepost 2 (Westbound) A white Dodge Caliber sedan driven by Robert William Gehrke, 32, of Grand Ronde, rolled onto its roof in a ditch; driver transported to hospital in Lincoln City, then arrested for DUII (ORS 813.010) and reckless driving (ORS 811.140), and lodged at Lincoln County Jail. Assisted by North Lincoln Fire, Pacific West Ambulance, and Lincoln City Police Department. • Oct. 28: Injury Crash on SR-18 Near Milepost 1 (Eastbound) An electric scooter operated by pedestrian Jocie Diana Nelson Webbe, 32, of Otis, made contact with a brown Nissan Titan driven by Michael Scott Thomas, 66, while attempting to cross the highway after glancing behind. Scooter operator transported to North Lincoln Hospital via ambulance; e-crash report only. Witness Travis John Raymond Davis, 43. Officer: Gavin Moody.
• Oct. 29: Miscellaneous Incident (Fugitive Apprehension) at Siletz Bay, Near Salishan Spit and Lincoln City Multiple state troopers assisted Lincoln City Police Department in apprehending Jaret Bryan Reynolds, 44, who fled on foot from arrest, swam into the channel between Salishan Spit and Lincoln City Beach, and ignored drone visuals and warnings. OSP and Lincoln County boats pulled subject to shore for custody. Officer: Kelly Katsikis.
