Lincoln County has now counted 18,747 ballots, bringing turnout to 46.62% as of 8:30 a.m. PT, May 27 (unofficial results). This is an increase of 60 ballots since the previous update on May 22.

Ballot counting continues. Official final results for Lincoln County are scheduled for June 12, 2026. State Final certification is scheduled for June 25, 2026.

Commissioner Races

Position 1 (16,567 votes counted) No candidate reached a majority. The top two (Rigby and Miller) will face off in the November general election.

  • Cathie Rigby — 5,101 votes (30.79%)
  • Casey Miller — 4,056 votes (24.48%)
  • Cheri Brubaker — 3,381 votes (20.41%)
  • Carter McEntee — 2,300 votes (13.88%)
  • Nicholle Moody — 1,167 votes (7.04%)
  • Dru Earls — 518 votes (3.13%)
  • Write-in — 44 votes (0.27%)

Position 2 (16,439 votes counted) No candidate reached a majority. The top two (Don and Steere) advance to a November runoff for the unexpired term.

  • Cristen Don — 7,197 votes (43.78%)
  • Joe D Steere — 3,651 votes (22.21%)
  • Marci Baker — 3,013 votes (18.33%)
  • Eddie Townsend — 2,523 votes (15.35%)
  • Write-in — 55 votes (0.33%)

Position 3 (16,025 votes counted) Curtis Landers has secured a majority (50.96%). Position 3 will not appear on the November ballot. Landers is projected to win the seat outright and will take office in January.

  • Curtis Landers — 8,166 votes (50.96%)
  • Walter Chuck Jr. — 7,802 votes (48.69%)
  • Write-in — 57 votes (0.36%)
