Lincoln City to Host Open House on New Welcome Center

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. — Residents and visitors are invited to learn about the upcoming Lincoln City Welcome Center during a public open house on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, from 4-6 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers.

Hosted by Explore Lincoln City, Lincoln City Public Works, Bremik Construction and Bearing Architecture, the event will feature details on plans, timeline, and progress for the new facility at the D River State Recreation Site.

The center will offer visitor information, cultural and natural history interpretation, and improved indoor and outdoor amenities at one of the city’s most popular beach access points.

The evening begins with an open house at 4 p.m., followed by a panel presentation at 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

The event takes place on the third floor of Lincoln City City Hall, 801 S.W. U.S. 101.
