The small park juts into Siletz Bay “like the prow of a ship,” according to local tourism descriptions, offering flat, easy access to the water, a viewing deck, picnic table, restrooms, and a wooded setting. Parking is limited, just one regular space and one designated handicap spot, which helps keep the feel intimate and uncrowded.
When the tide is out, visitors can walk down onto the bay’s exposed flats for a closer look at the shoreline and surrounding scenery. From the deck and grounds, the view takes in much of Siletz Bay, including the distinctive Pelican landmark, along with the broader bay landscape where giant gray trees come to rest.
